Bellbottoms - PYLO // Hat - Lack of Color // Sweater - UNIF // Sandals - Windsor Smith // Bag - The Lair
My very first blog post with my new camera! I was previously shooting with a canon 700D and a 24-70mm f/2.8, which was absolutely fine, I certainly didn't need to upgrade. I was able to shoot what i needed, and with a fair amount of help from Lightroom my pictures looked great. But I must say the only good thing to come out of our apartment being broken into is my lovely new Canon 6D and Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens. Yes, it cost a lot more than my previous camera and i have my wonderful family to thank for such an incredible gift. I can obviously tell there is quite a massive difference between my previous body and the 6D but the biggest difference is a quality lens. I don't spend nearly as much time mucking around with sharpness, clarity and colour in lightroom now.
Playing with the aperture is probably my favourite part. A portrait shot with an aperture of 1.4 is to die for (no used today though).
I have had an abundance of things going on in my personal life this month, to the point where i'm physically and mentally exhausted. Hence my absence of social media as of late. But i'm back and back for good, there are some very exciting things coming up in the near future that have put me right back on track. My motivation is strong at the moment, I'm taking a break from alcohol, partying, bad foods, bad thoughts and negative people and starting fresh, which is very exciting!
As i've been absent from blogging lately i've got a few outfits piling up which I have been dying to shoot. This one in particular! I'm so excited for the return of flares, bellbottoms and wide leg trousers. Being that I tend to carry all my weight around the hips, buns and thighs a wide leg or a flare help to ballance out and flatter my figure. Not to mention the comfort when it comes to bellbottoms, this Pylo pair in particular. Lucky for us Australian's it is just starting to come into summer and I'm so excited to add these pants to my summer wardrobe. As today was a little chilly, but still incredibly sunny i've paired my bells with my fav oversized unif sweater and a new addition to my hat collection, the bone fedora from Lack of Color hats! I also better mention that these bells are fairly long, which suits me fine, because nothing goes better with bellbottoms than some platform clogs, or a flatform sandal. I cant wait to pair them with my Hellbounds or Tequilas.
You look great. Every photo is better than the other. I can advice you to use best lightroom plugins to enhance your photos.
