Its about time this section got a much needed update! A lot has changed over the past year both in my personal and business life. I've had a the pleasure of working with some great companies and fashion labels and cannot express how overwhelmed with gratitude I am for each and everyone of you that reads this blog, follows me on instagram and lookbook and for everyone else that i've come into contact with along the way.

I have finally had the opportunity to move my life up to the big smoke. Melbourne has been so incredible and has opened me up to so many possibilities. As i was previously completing my university degree I was only blogging part time, but I have made the decision to blog full time whilst also working. This is not only exciting for myself but will also mean that my turn over will be far greater for business purposes.

Over the past year I have worked with some major Australian and International fashion labels and companies including; Myer, Miss Shop, Wish, Evil Twin, Motel, Miss Guided, Triangl, Everland Clothing, CAT footwear and many more.

I'll only touch lightly on my personal life for now. Basically there are only a few people in my life who I would do absolutely anything for. I have never been one to have an excessive amount of friends and it usually takes me quite some time to be comfortable around new people.
Obviously there are my mum and dad. They would do absolutely anything for me and I will be forever in their debt trying to repay back all of the love and support I have received over the years. Both my two older brothers get a mention, who will, without a doubt, always help me buy things when I'm poor or want a new coat/dress/pair of shoes. And for this I will never say a bad word about siblings again.
Finally Ryan and Wallace. Ryan will certainly be upset that he is on the same level as Wallace but both have helped me in very, very different ways. I brought Wallace when I was going through a very stressful time and he managed to help me cope and together we bonded like nothing else. He doesn't live with me at the moment and I took it a lot harder than I thought I would. I miss him more than I can express. Ryan-who will never read this as he doesn't understand "all that fashion and beauty stuff"- is probably the reason i'm even here in the first place. If it wasn't for his influence on my life i'd more than likely still be in bed, back in Traralgon, feeling sorry for myself. I am without a doubt, the confident and driven person I am today thanks to Ryans influence.

I would like to finish with one last note on something that is incredibly important to me for both personal happiness and confidence:

As I was reading through my previous about me I realised how much I have grown over the past year of running this blog. One of the major differences is my take on personal style. It's obvious for anyone looking through my post that i've certainly grown but the one thing that remains is my approach to style and fashion.

I still feel it's incredibly important to wear.what.you.want. I can't express that enough. I've learnt over the past few years since leaving high school that anything from fashion to beauty to basically any form of self expression, its incredibly important to do what you want and don't worry about what anyone else is doing.

That goes for magazines, friends, family, boyfriends, pets etc. Respect their opinions but don't let these opinions control you and your happiness.
